EN: „In a 5×7 grid of small squares, a random point is set near the center of each square from which a line is drawn to each of the four corners. This creates four triangles in each square. For each of the triangles in the quadrants, there are three possibilities. The triangle remains empty, the triangle is shaded gray, or the triangle is filled in black, but in the end one of the four triangles must always remain empty. The probability that a triangle remains empty increases from bottom to top in this drawing.“

DE: „In einem 5×7 Raster aus kleinen Quadraten wird in jedem Quadrat ein zufälliger Punkt nahe der Mitte festgelegt und je eine Linie zu allen vier Ecken gezeichnet. Dadurch entstehen vier Dreiecke in jedem Quadrat. Für jedes der Dreiecke in den Quadranten gibt es drei Möglichkeiten. Das Dreieck bleibt leer, das Dreieck wird grau schraffiert oder das Dreieck wird schwarz ausgefüllt, wobei aber am Schluss eines der vier Dreiecke immer leer bleiben muss. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass ein Dreieck leer bleibt, nimmt in dieser Zeichnung von unten nach oben hinzu.“
